Our tune up options include the removal of unwanted programs and trialware, installation of Windows updates, all third-party software updated, improving menu navigation, creating program shortcuts, cleaning up quick launch and taskbar, removing those unwanted toolbars, optimizing startup and shutdown, the removal of dust from inside the computer, Plus much more! The following services are performed during a System Tune-Up session:

• Backup System Registry
• Check to see if machine has a data backup system in place and if so ensure it is working
• Memory Check: Ensure system has an adequate amount of RAM installed
• Hard Drive: Ensure drive is not reporting errors
• Flush and delete all cookies and temp files (internet, user, system)
• Run a quick Malware Scan to spot check a system for infections *
• Ensure system has Anti-Virus software installed and that it is up to date and running correctly
• Update Java, Flash, Adobe Reader, and other common programs
• Check and install Windows Updates, Patches and Service Packs
• Check and delete all unnecessary installed programs to include junkware
• Clean System Registry
• Clean System Restore Points and ensure that System Restore is turned ON
• Check and configure start up programs to improve system stability
• Run a disk cleanup to remove all unnecessary clutter
• Disk Defrag
• Internal Cleaning

*  If it is determined that the machine is infected with a virus or malware during the quick scan spot check, the Virus Repair service can be added on to the System Tune-Up service at a discounted rate.

With every tuneup we also check your computer’s security. If there is no current anti-virus program, one will be provided for free.
